I meant to put this news up the other day BUT now I have an article to go with it!

We made 10 THOUSAND at the garage sale. Combined with donations and dental day the total- $30,000!!
I'm so proud of everyone- but especially of Lauren. She just went through surgery on thursday in Vancouver- and everything went well- got 90% of the tumor and she should be back in the Okanagan this week. If you'd like to see more pictures- look at my facebook album.

So this one time, I had this friend (she's pretty awesome) who was throwing out ideas of all these plans for some sort of fundraiser(s), then next thing you know, she is being quoted in newspapers. Sudoku-speedwalker-Jeopardy expert-shopper-mixer-chef-story teller-planner extraordinaire! Awesome right?! Congratulations on this amazingness, the Ontario kids are so proud (little secret, we even tell randoms about our awesome friend who manages to throw fabulous fundraisers as a conversation starter). - GMo
